The story of Edison, McDowell & Hetherington LLP is quite simple—we are trial lawyers committed to providing outstanding, cost-effective representation to our clients. We don’t just do trial work; we enjoy doing it, and we excel at doing it.

EMH was founded by Andrew M. Edison, David T. McDowell and Thomas F. A. Hetherington, three highly regarded trial partners at Bracewell & Giuliani LLP, one of the oldest and best known firms in Texas. Since opening our firm in January 2009, Andy, David and Tom have been joined by nearly two dozen attorneys who share their commitment to excellence. Drawn from respected national firms and some of the finest law schools across the country, these attorneys bring their own valuable experience as trial lawyers and further EMH’s ability to serve its clients.
